Need Help?

At some point, we all run into a problem or two. If you have a technical problem, or simply a question about the game, There are several ways to get help:

1. IRC

This is the fastest way to get help. We have an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel reserved for people who have MegaTF or installer questions. Experienced players have volunteered to spend time in the channel, and to answer any questions you might have. The trick is to connect to irc.mediajoint.net and join the channel: megahelp

Now that you know where to go, you just need to know how to get there. If you have an IRC client and are familiar with IRC, connecting to irc.mediajoint.net and joining megahelp should be pretty straightforward.

2. The MegaTF Technical Support Board

If you have a problem getting MegaTF to work this is a good place to ask questions. Many knowledgable people read this messageboard, and are more than willing to help. If you post a message here, someone will reply and try to help. Click 'Here' to open the MegaTF Technical Support Board.


3. MegaTF Questions - Ask Teammates

If all else fails, you can always try asking your question on a server, during a game. Many people on servers are quite friendly, and will try to answer your question as best they can.

Don't get carried away though. Asking one or two questions is fine. Asking any more is not. People are on the server to play. Try to learn a little each time you play a game, but play the game more than you chat.
